Meet Our Dental Staff
Dr. Ron Krause
Dr. Krause decided to open his private dental practice in the City of Orange after graduating from University of Southern California Dental School in 1978. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychobiology. When researching locations for his practice after graduation, he fell in love with the Old Town Orange area and has been practicing dentistry there ever since.
Although Dr. Krause enjoys many different activities, he has a passion for traveling the world, baseball, and all types of music. He is married and, together with his wife of 30 years, has enjoyed raising their two sons in the City of Orange. Dr. Krause has been an avid supporter of many local community organizations, such as the Orange Park Acres Women's League, Christian Women's Group, youth sports leagues, animal rescue groups, and the Beverly House for tranistioning young women in Orange, to name a few. He also volunteers by providing much-needed dental care for young women residents of the Casa Teresa house in Orange.
Karen — Office Manager
“I really enjoy being part of a caring team that works together to help patients achieve optimum oral health! It is very gratifying to see how a beautiful, healthy smile can really boost a patient’s self-esteem. As Dr. Krause’s Office Manager, I understand how important it is to always strive to listen and address our patients’ needs, concerns, expectations, and responsibilities when helping them to plan their treatment.
I really value the time I have with my family when not working, especially time to just play with my grandchildren! I also love to bake, read, volunteer in local schools, and practice Pilates.
Cynthia — Dental Assistant
“What I enjoy most about working in the dental industry is the interpersonal contact with patients. I feel privileged to be a part of helping them to improve their health. Being efficient and prepared is very important to me in helping Dr. Krause and our patients. I enjoy spending my free time with my young nieces and nephews, hiking, and mountain biking.”
Cherise — Registered Dental Assistant
“I really enjoy connecting with our patients and helping to provide a calm and caring dental experience for them. I know that helping to create that positive experience from start to finish can, not only, influence how the patient views the importance of their dental health in the future, but also, their motivation to maintain their overall health as well. I also love seeing the way that beautiful dentistry can change a patient’s confidence and perspective of themselves.
Spending time with family and friends, hiking, gardening, and beach walks with my dog, Bella, are how I enjoy my leisure time.”
Dana — Registered Dental Hygienist
“Even after 22 years as a Dental Hygienist, it is still so personally satisfying to help my patients improve their oral hygiene, which can play such an important role in their overall health. Many patients are unaware of the correlation between the health of the oral cavity and health risks such as, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and diet, among others. Learning about these issues myself, and educating my patients, is still so rewarding for me! To me, the most important contribution I can make to a patient’s dental experience at Dr. Krause’s is to help them reduce any fears they may have about dentistry by being caring, sensitive to their needs, listening, and by sharing my knowledge about maintaining their health.
When I’m not educating my patients about the virtues of flossing…ha, ha…I enjoy biking, water sports, working out with my son at the gym, watching football, reading, and motorcycling. I am always up for trying new activities!
Briana — Registered Dental Hygienist
“I feel so lucky to be working in such a caring and professional office at Dr. Krause’s! It not only allows me to assist in maintaining our patient’s beautiful smiles, but also, to form relationships and learn about their lives beyond the dental office. That makes each day new, exciting, and incredibly rewarding for me! The most important aspects of how I treat patients clinically, are being thorough, knowledgeable about oral health, and fostering great communication.
Besides loving the free time I spend with my husband, Zack, and my Standard Poodle, Pippa, I also enjoy water skiing, gardening, shopping, and baking.”
Eileen — Administrative Assistant
I love the diversity of being able to wear many hats in the practice by handling anything from bookkeeping to ordering toys for the Toybox! Although all of these activities play a necessary supportive role in the practice, it’s the relationships I’ve developed over the years with the patients and staff members that are the most important to me. So many have become like family!
My travel bucket list is getting longer and longer and I enjoy crossing each new place off the list! I have a passion for animals, which has taken me in many directions with both dogs and horses. I also sing and plunk around on the piano, always hoping to get better at it!
